Was Pronounced Insane.

Sioux City, Iowa, Feb 27 -- Mrs. Alice Blood was acquitted here Saturday on motion of the prosecution of the charge of murdering her husband, George Blood, last fall. The state's physicians pronounced her insane. She shot her husband in the back as he sat eating his breakfast. She then retired to her bedroom and becoming annoyed by the groans of the unfortunate man, she returned and finished the murder with a second bullet. She claimed that her husband systematically ill-treated her. Mrs. Blood is now critically ill.
