MRS. GEO. SLADE PASSES AWAY
Wife of Former Adrian Hotel Proprietor Dies at Her Home on Monday Morning.

Mrs. Annette Slade, wife of Geo. Slade, for many years proprietor of the Slade hotel at Adrian, died at her home in that village on Monday morning at 4 o'clock. Mrs. Slade had been in poor health for several months. About two months ago she was taken to the hospital at Rochester, where she underwent an operation, but very little benefit resulted. Since then little hopes has been entertained for her recovery.

Mrs. Slade was a former resident of Worthington, and before her marriage was employed as a school teacher in the Crosby district of Westside township. Her maiden name was Miss Annette R. Dunham. She was married on December 28, 1879, in this city. She is survived by a family of six, three sons and three daughters.
