Jan 10. Gift and sale to William de Monte Acuto, in consideration of 500 marks, which he will pay at the king's exchequer, one moiety at Michaelmas, and one at Easter next following, and by the assent of the prelates, earls, barons and others of the king's council, of an acre of land in Kyngesclere, co. Hants, and of the advowson of the church there; to be held by him and his heirs of the king and his heirs by the yearly payment of a rose at the feast of the nativity of St. John the Baptist in lieu of all service.
