The Langlade County Genealogical Research Group's main purposes are to create
and nurture interests in genealogy and family history, to gather and preserve the
records of ancestors, founder and early settlers of our county, and to aid
individuals in their genealogical pursuits.
TO THE PIONEERS
May we take this occasion to pay tribute to
those pioneers who came here in the early days to make farms, build cities and
with all provide the comforts and happiness that we of this generation now enjoy. All honor to them who toiled and sacrificed and made
these things possible. May we of today become more fully inspired with the
spirit that those pioneers displayed, that the great work of building Antigo
and Langlade County may continue upon the foundation that they so well started
for us.
It is to them that we dedicate this endeavor to bring our past to the present.
