- 1794 Edward LANKSHEAR married Hannah GREEN at Great Coxwell - but who is Edward
- my first thought was that 1794 man was also 1803 but Hannah was still having children in 1810 although Edward not shown in 1810
- 1803 EDWARD LANCASHIRE marriage LUCY CHEESEMORE
- 1807 EDWARD WILLIAM LANCASHIRE son of Edward and Lucy
- who was a LANKSHEAR as he appears to be the man of
- 1831 Edward Lankshear marriage to Frances Clare at St Martin's in the Fields
- and 1861 census Edward W Lankshear and Frances and family
- The Clare marriage is interesting as my first thoughts were maybe she was a cousin
- see Clare Family Documents especially 1836 - Will of Susanna Lankshear of Witney
- but 1809 FRANCES CLARE daug James and Mary Clare and likely future wife of Edward Lankshear
- does not show any direct links to the other Clare's
- Now there is another Edward 1871 Edward Lankshear and Mary (and Ann Seymour) - Edward could be child of Edward William born around 1835 I am making a big leap and putting him in gedcom as child of Edward W
- now see Edward Lankshear and Lucy Cheesemore descendants
- 1851 Edward Lankshear - warehouse porter - a lodger and 1871 Edward Lankshear and Mary (and Ann Seymour) - Edward seems to be child of Edward William
- A Edward in same parish St Martin's in the Fields (sadly my CD of registers only goes up to 1619)
- Now thought that Lucy died and Edward remarried
- Also these people not in original gedcom -
- Could it be that Edward married all three women Hannah and Lucy and Elizabeth
- 1809 EDWARD LANKSHEAR marriage ELIZABETH CATHERINE NIXON
- their daughter
- 1819 Frances (Fanny)� LANKSHIRE birth daug of Edward and Elizabeth
- 1847 Fanny� LANKSHEAR to John FOX marriage in St. James' Church Westminster.
Also a descendant of above Edward's is 1901 Edward Lankshear - census in Royal Navy and Death in Canada
- And there are the Edward's in original gedcom first born 1855
