Ron worked in the Equipment Provisioning and Accounting Section (EPAS)
Weekends - sometimes hitch hike to London
or bus to Peterborough
with mate Doug and Roger
I managed to cut my forearm on a swing door and was sent to
Princess Mary RAF Hospital, Halton for a
skin graft.
This was the major plastic surgery RAF hospital.
They did wonderful work there.
Half my ward were due to motor cycle accidents
One man had fallen off a truck had a major graft operation going on
Skin growing from one place to another.
Sadly It has been demolished
Dad and Mum took me out a day when I was there
