...

JOSEPH HENDY and wife SUSANNA: [I need to order the Landewednack parish records that include
marriages - the film I saw, # 0916944, had only baptisms and burials]
children bapt to this couple at Landewednack:
SAMUEL bapt Landewednack 7 Jun 1778
JOSEPH bapt Landewednack 30 Jan 1780
HANNAH bapt Landewednack 31 Dec 1780
MARY bapt Landewednack 25 Dec 1782
JOSEPH bapt Landewednack 14 Nov 1784 [the first one must have died]
SUSANNA bapt Landewednack 19 Mar 1786
GRACE bapt Landewednack 14 Jan 1778
SIMON bapt Landewednack 8 Mar 1790

Marice King, of New Zealand, has recorded a 9th child bapt to Joseph Hendy and wife Susanna, from
the IGI SIMON [or Simion] bapt Mabe 10 Jul 1796
[there is a gap there, so perhaps there were more children bapt elsewhere? or the IGI is mistaken?]

In the MULLION records there are
JULIAN bapt Mullion 4 Nov 1775 to Joseph Hendy [no wife named]
HANNAH bapt Mullion 2 Apr 1777 to Joseph Hendy [no wife named]
[this may or may not be the same Joseph, as there are several in this area]

Burial of interest:
25 Feb 1780 at Mullion, JOSEPH infant son of JOSEPH HENDY of Landewednack
[This suggests a Mullion connection for the Joseph with wife Susanna. I do have a JOSEPH bapt
1753 which might be our man. But more church records need to be consulted to find out. I don't
have a Joseph bapt Landewednack 1755 - as Donna does - could have missed it in the records.]

And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age
