A sad case of drowning occurred in Lake Ida last Friday. Adolph Engstrom, aged about 32 years, who lived at the inlet, was skating on the ice when he broke through. His wife went to his assistance and also broke in. Their twelve year old boy got his mother out but Mr. Engstrom was drowned. His body was recovered about two hours afterward.
