  2. 26 Jan Grzmocinski and 27 Mary Woichouskia

    The Gerzmokinskys came from the vicinity of Poland (John = Russia, Mary = Germany?) to NYC (Bronx) by way of Pennsylvania prior to 1895. How did they get to the US, and which port? What part of Pennsylvania did they originally settle in and get married?

    Here's possibly John's mother Annie (grasping at straws):

  3. The Morgan migrations from VT -> PA -> NYC -> ??

    Where did 24 Fredrick Thomas Morgan and 25 Mary (Sloan) Morgan and their family move to after the 1900 Census? They were in Bangor, PA in 1900...then son Henry is married in Bronx, NY in 1914 - was the rest of the family there as well? And did they eventually leave NYC?

    Resolution: Well, a 1910 census page was found, but it looks like Thomas may have remarried around 1907-1908. Mary quite likely died in Pennsylvania between 1904-1907. Children Earl and Helen were with the Hayes relatives in VT in 1910.

  4. 50 Patrick Sloan

    How many of Patrick's family from County Down, Ireland, came to the US? Is John Sloan, witness to his naturalization, also his brother?

    Also, John Sloan of Peru, NY was witness to Bernard Sloan's naturalization, and Patrick Sloan served as godfather to Bernard Sloan's daughter Bridget in 1861.
