GLENMORA - Services for Gussie Myers Goree will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Glenmora United Methodist Church with the Revs. Charles Miller and Paul Singletary officiating. Burial will be in Glenmora Cemetery under direction of Rush, Oakdale.
Mrs. Goree, 89, of Glenmora died at 8:15 a.m. Saturday at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
She was a housewife and a member of Glenmora United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women's Association.
Survivors include five sons, Walter D. Goree and Mack W. Goree, both of Houston, Bobbie L. Goree of Sulphur, James L. Goree and Billy C. Goree, both of Glenmora; three daughters, Melba G. Morgan of Plano, Texas, Bettye G. Paritt of Jacksboro, Texas, and Ruthie Goree of Houston; one sister, Mamie Lea Reeder of Baytown, Texas; 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
