1813 will

To all whom it may Concern be it known that William Thames of Cumberland County & State of North Carolina departed this life on the 10th day of January 1813 at the House of Joseph Cain Esq. of Bladen County and State af[oresai]d & that previous to his death he called on Joseph Thames & Joseph Cain Esq. and stated to them the manner that he would wish his Estate to be divided which is as follows to wit, he said that he had given to Each of his children Except his Sons William Thames and James Thames their parts of his Estate General and personal, and that his will was that the Land on which he lived should be Equally divided between said son William Thames and James Thames, and that he gave to James Thames all his Furniture & Stock of Every kind for the purpose of raising and Educating him and further said not.

The above statement of the last Nuncupative will of William Thames of Cumberland County was Sworn to before the Subscribers this 10th day January 1813 by -
