Wife's General NotesMargaret left England to visit her sons in America. One day after sailing, a storm came up and Margaret died. She was buried at sea and the ship returned to England. James & Margaret were emigrating to USA.Said to left UK ? port 1856. A heavy storm forced the ship to return to UK ,but it did leave for USA Margaret died on board / when & was buried at sea.

General Notes for Child: Samuel PenfoldSamuel left England for Australia. He stopped in New York and decided to visit a friend in Buffalo, New York. It was necessary to lay-over in Gardenville, New York enroute. While waiting, he met George Good, who owned a nursery. Samuel helped Mr. Good plant flowers. Mr. Good then invited him home to supper. There he met the family and fell in love with Ann. He then sent to England for his two younger brothers, Daniel and Edward, to meet Susan and Hannah Good.
