A service for Linda L. Hain, a librarian in Williamsville schools for 24 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in First United Methodist Church, 332 Baynes Ave. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
Mrs. Hain, 48, died Sunday (March 25, 2001) in Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a brief illness.
A longtime resident of the Town of Tonawanda, the former Linda Laufer graduated from Kenmore East High School and the University at Buffalo, where she earned a degree in library science.
As librarian at Mill Middle School for the past 14 years, she often led school groups on theater trips to Toronta and Buffalo. She was also active in the leadership of Boy Scout Troop 229, Town of Tonawanda.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph; a son, Jonathan of Kenmore; and a brother, Richard Laufer of Seminole, Fla.
