408 acres, 3 slaves, 8 horses, & 11 cattle. Value 468 pounds.
[Note: I copied the list from an LDS film, but did not
record the number.
Jiles' property was adjacent to the COE family. Two of his
daughters married COE sons]

Giles HUDSPETH is not listed on the N.C. State Census.
[Note: I believe he was in Surry Co., N.C. at
the time. It appears that all the people in his district
(Mosby's District for the 1782 tax
list) may have been missed in this census.] 12
