Every time I find someone new I get so excited wondering what discovery or connection I might make. I try to read up on the time period and history in the local area so I can get an idea what they might have been doing or how they lived. There are a lot of names on the tree but verifying them can be a task. One branch, one person at a time. It will be worth it in the end.
Organizing all the information is time-consuming but I am determined to get it all presentable for my family. Finding pictures and documents is also very exciting. I, myself, am gathering the ones I have and getting them uploaded so I can add them to the search for others. It is crazy how fast they can stack up.
