Christened as Lucie Sophia Wilhelmine Lembcke in Mecklenburg-Schwerin Germany. She emigrated on 14 Sep 1881 with her Father, Mother, two Brothers and two sisters from Mecklenburg-Schwerin Germany and arrived in Kellogg Iowa October 19, 1881. On the manifest of the Steamer Hamburg, she was listed as Minna Lemcke on 23 September 1881. On the 14th of October, they arrived in New York City on the SS City of Paris and traveled by train on to their final destination of Kellogg, Jasper County, Iowa arriving on the 19th of Oct 1881. Her name changed to Jennie Lemke after sometime arrival in Amerika. She was naturalized on 5 Oct 1886 at Circuit Court, Newton, Jasper, Iowa when her father obtained naturalization. Family history indicates she married William Jacobs in 1896 at Kellogg, Jasper, Iowa and divorced in 1898. She Leon Eberly on 1 Aug 1905. She died on 29 Jul 1954 at Des Moines, Iowa, at age 77. She was buried on 31 Jul 1954 at Old German Lutheran Cemetery, Kellogg, Jasper, Iowa.

1930 Federal Census shows Minnie (age 58, Head of Household) Mary (age 23) and William (age 20) living at 801 South 6th Avenue, Marshalltown, Iowa. Whereabouts of Leon is Unknown.
