N.B. The population of the
Parish of Long Whatton, as taken by order of Parlement this
year, was as follows, viz
782 Persons, including
infants, of which number 414 were males & 368 were females. The
number of inhabited houses was 147 occupied by 147 families The
number of families chiefly employed in agriculture was 46, in
trade manufactories & handicraft 88. The number not comprized
in either of the above classes 13
