March 5th, 1869 The London Gazette NOTICES: Notice to Creditors - The Reverend Joseph POWELL Deceased Pursuant to the Act passed in the session of Parliament, held in the 22nd and 23rd years of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, cap.35, intituled "An Act to further amend the Law of Property, and to relieve Trustees." The Creditors of, and all persons claiming debt or liabilities affecting the estate of the Reverend Joseph POWELL, late of Normanton on Soar, in the county of Nottingham, Clerk, deceased (who died on the 20th September 1868, and letters of administration of all and singular his personal estate and effects were granted by the District Registry of the county of Nottingham, attached to Her Majesty's Court of Probate, to Elizabeth POWELL, of Normanton on Soar, aforesaid, the widow of the said deceased, on the 5th October 1868) are hereby required to send in on or before the 1st day of May next, the particulars of their claims against the estate of the said deceased, with the nature of their securities (if any) to the said administratrix, at the office of Joseph GILES, of Loughborough, in the county of Leicester, Solicitor, and in default thereof the said administratrix will proceed to distribute the assets of the said deceased among the parties entitled thereto, having regard to the claims of which the administratrix shall then have had notice; and will not be liable for the assets so distributed to any person of whose claims she shall not have had notice at the time of such distribution. June 22nd 1900 The London Gazette Pursuant to Act of Parliament, of the 22nd and 23rd Vict., cap. 35, intituled “An Act to further amend the Law of Property, and to relieve Trustees”. NOTICE is hereby given, that all creditors and other persons having any debts, claims, or demands against the estate of Samuel MARSHALL, late of Zouch, in the parish of Normanton on Soar, Nottinghamshire, Farmer (who died on the 9th day of November, 1899, and whose will with a codicil thereto was proved in the Nottingham District Registry of the Probate Division of Her Majesty’s High Court of Justice on the 17th day of January, 1900, by Sarah Ann HARDSTAFF, William TIDD, and John MARSHALL, the executors named in the said will and codicil), are hereby required to send in the particulars of their debts, claims, and demands to the said executors, at the office of the undersigned, their Solicitors, on or before the 31st day of July, 1900, after the expiration of which time the said executors will proceed to distribute the assets of the said deceased among the parties entitled thereto, having regard only to the claims and demands of which the said executors shall then have had notice; and that the said executors will not be liable for the assets or any part thereof so distributed to any person of whose debt, claim or demand they shall not have had such notice as aforesaid. – Dated this 18th day of June 1900. January 18th, 1932 The London Gazette NOTICES: MARIA WOODRUFF, Deceased - Pursuant to the Trustees Act, 1925 Notice is hereby given that all creditors and other persons having any claims or demands against or effecting the estate of Maria WOODRUFF, of Normanton on Soar, in the county of Leicest, Spinster, deceased (who died on the first day of November, 1931, and whose will was proved by Edgar Charles Ashwell HORNE, of Plumtree Notts, the executor therein named, in the Nottingham Registry of the Probate Division of the High Court of Justice of the 1st day of December 1931) are hereby required to send in, in writing, the particulars of their claims and demands to the undersigned, the Solicitors of the Executor, on or before the 19th day of March next; and notice is hereby further given that after the last mentioned day the said executor will proceed to distribute the assets of the said testatrix among the parties entitled thereto, having regard only to the claims and demands of which he shall have had notice, and the said executor will not be answerable , or liable for the assets, so distributed, or any part thereof to any person of whose claim and demand he shall not then have had notice.
