Katherine Karleen Culpepper, Dec. 30, 1926 — Feb. 6, 2004
     CENTERVILLE — Services for Katherine Karleen Culpepper, 77, of Centerville and formerly of Houston, are set for 2 p.m. Monday at Walters Funeral Home Chapel in Centerville. The Rev. Anthony Cecil will officiate. Burial will be in North Creek Cemetery in rural Leon County.
     Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the family present from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., and from 9 a.m. to the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
     Mrs. Culpepper died Friday in Huntsville. She was born in Dallas. She and her husband owned and operated several businesses together, including Culpepper Electronics in Houston and Culpepper Tree Farm, which supplied Christmas trees to many churches and organizations. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
     She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean Kirkley. Survivors include her husband, Bill Culpepper of Centerville; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Barbara Culpepper of Centerville and Thomas Alan and Rhonda Culpepper of Houston; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy Sue and Rex Gunderson of Spring and Shirley Beth and Gilbert Brook of Florence; a brother, Mac T. Raye of Harper; six sisters, Lona Joyce Alsup of Canyon Lake, Carmen Rene Baldwin and Zoe Jean Cina, both of Ingram, Faye O’Brien of Harper, Charlotte Wiltz of Kerrville and Linda Mae Crockett of Lockhart; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.2
