Baker of Lockhart, Texas, Paul O. Baker of Travis County, Texas, Jeffrey A. Baker and wife, Tammy of Temple, Texas; great-granddaughters, Nicole Baker and Jennifer Baker, both of Temple, Texas; niece, Betty Lawrence of Austin, Texas; and numerous nephews and nieces in Texas. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 11, 2001, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 12, 2001, in the Davis Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas. Rebecca Sorrells was my grandmother's (Fannie Culpepper) sister and had typhoid fever has a child and was somewhat retarded. She lived with Fannie & Edward until they died then lived with my Aunt Pat (Better known to you as Ortha) in San Antonio, TX and died there.

The picture I have of the Culpepper reunion has Amos Allison Jr. on the name list. I have never heard him called anything but Uncle Al.

My grandfather Edward L. Culpepper did live in Live Oak County as I have heard my father Carl talk many times about picking cotton their as a child. The old Culpepper place at Red Rock was actually inherited by my Granny Fannie from her father James Sorrells . Up until then they were tennant farmers.8
