Research note* | July 2005 | In the 1880 census, Henry, Henrietta, Camilla and Cassey Culpepper are enumerated as siblings of the Head of household, James Calvin Culpepper. This would make them all children of James Henry Culpepper and Delitha Edwards. However, three of the four siblings (all but Cassie) were born before 1870, yet they were not enumerated in 1870 with James Henry and Delitha. No records subsequent to 1880 have been found for any of the four siblings. Finally, the two youngest siblings, Camilla and Cassie, would have been born when Delitha was ages 46 and 49, respectively. Therefore, this researcher (Warren Culpepper) concludes that these four siblings were not siblings of James Calvin Culpepper. An inspection of the 1870 census record for Julia Ann Gray's parents, William P. amd Frances Gray (see Henry County, Precinct 6, Page 4, Lines 17-23), suggests that they are not Julia's siblings, either. If you know more about the four siblings, please contact Warren Culpepper.5,8,10 |

Henry Culpepper
M, (circa 1862 - )
Father | James Henry Culpepper (22 Nov 1822 - 7 Apr 1903) |
Mother | Delitha Ann Edwards (16 Feb 1823 - ) |
Birth* | circa 1862 | Henry was born at Henry Co., Alabama, circa 1862. |
(Brother) 1880 Census | 1 June 1880 | Henry was listed as a brother in James Calvin Culpepper's household on the 1880 Census at Hardwickburg, Henry Co., Alabama.1 |
(Witness) Research note | July 2005 | In the 1880 census, Henry, Henrietta, Camilla and Cassey Culpepper are enumerated as siblings of the Head of household, James Calvin Culpepper. If you know more about the four siblings, please contact Warren Culpepper.2,1,3 |

Death | 26 October 1929 | She died on 26 October 1929 at age 81.1 |
Death* | 27 November 1929 | She died at Henry Co., Alabama, on 27 November 1929 at age 81.2,9 |
If you know more about the four siblings, please contact Warren Culpepper.10,4,11 |
