Obituary* | 11 October 2008 | Johnie Max Culpepper, 70, died on Monday, March 10, 2008. Max was born on Jan. 13, 1938, in Lincoln Co., Ark. He was the son of Johnie Wayne Culpepper and Ruth Clements Culpepper. Johnie was preceded in death by his parents. He was formerly of Greenville, SC and was a member of the Brownsville Christian Fellowship Church and a 32-degree Mason. His survivors are a daughter, Patty Culpepper of North Little Rock, Ark; a son, Thomas (Andrea) Culpepper; and three grandchildren, David, Mark and Angie Culpepper of Taylors, SC. He is also survived by his sister, Billie New of Jacksonville, Ark. Max, formerly employed by Allison Mfg. from 1986 to 2001 in Corporate Quality Control Management. He leaves behind many of his friends from his work and his church. No local services will be held. A memorials service will be held in Star City, Ark. The family requests that memorials be sent to Sunshine Heaven, P.O. Box 4478, Brownsville, Texas 78523. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home, 1002 E. Harrison, Harlingen, (956) 364-2444.1 |

Biography* | Obituary: Jessie Lee Culpepper, 77, of Sherwood, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2002. He was a retired Sgt. with the U.S. Army -- WWII and Korean veteran. He was also a retired employee of Orbit Valve Co. and a member of Berean Baptist Church. He was a honorable man who loved God, family and country. "Semper Fidelis". Survivors include his wife, Joan Burcham Culpepper; four sons, Montie Culpepper, wife Janice of Sheridan, Tony Culpepper, wife, Barbara, Jesse Lee Culpepper Jr., wife, Teresa, and Victor Culpepper all of Sherwood; three daughters, Patricia Holland, husband James of Sherwood, Jeanie Williams, husband, Bill of Little Rock, and Vanessa Federwisch, husband, Jim of Dumfries, Va; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Berean Baptist Church, North Little Rock. Burial will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery with military honors. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170.3 |
