Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday December 20, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA, with Reverend Vernon Prather officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Culpepper was born May 14, 1940 in Grantville, GA to the late Starling "Jack" Grady Beckom and Mary Banks Beckom Brittain. She was a Registered Nurse with the Medical Center in Columbus for many years. She was also a member of Kirkland Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert "Harold" Culpepper, daughters, Janet Childers (Bill), and Starlynn Mulhall (Tom) all of Fortson, son, Robert "Bobby" Culpepper of Salem, AL, sister, Brenda Hemberry of Lander, WY, brothers, Leroy Beckom of Jasper, GA and Larry Beckom (Cheryl) of Newnan, GA, grandchildren, Julia Glaser and Sean Mulhall, and great grandchildren, Janelle Little, Maddie Little, and Paisley Glaser.4
