Irene Culpepper, 90, of Pisgah, Ala., died July 25 in Scottsboro, Ala.

She was preceded in death by parents Jack L. and Susan Burs Buttram; husband Eunice Culpepper; son J.C. Culpepper, daughter Jeanne Seitz; brother J.L. Buttram; sisters Doris Strickland, Pat Bohlka, Eloise Buttram and Jimmie Drake; and grandson Randy West.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Becky and David Leon Tucker, Summerville; Shannon and Lamar Starkey, Pisgah, Ala; Judy and Tommy Cook, Mullins, S.C; sisters Gertrude Green and Mamie Ray, Rome; ten grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held July 27 at Kerby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Porter officiating. Interment was held at Pleasant View Cemetery in Dutton, Ala. Arrangements were by Kerby Funeral Home, Henagar, Ala.1
