Hubard worked for the City of Norfolk for a period of time but at the beginning of World War II he managed a photo/blue printing company in downtown Norfolk (Acme Photo Co.) and later he bought the company with his Brother-in-law, William U. McTague, and operated this company until his death. Hubard had a distinctive eye condition which is hereditary and causes the eyelid to droop. |
