Hamilton - Mrs. Essie Sizemore Culpepper, 87, of Hamilton, died August 16th at her home. Graveside services were held August 19th at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus with Elder Boddy Sizemore officiating. Mrs. Culpepper was born October 30, 1914 in Chattahoochee County, daughter of the late Elizabeth Robinson Sizemore and the late Doc Solomon Sizemore. She was a retired Medical Records Clerk, was a member of Mt. Peron Primitive Baptist Church, Box Springs and was the widow of Ennon Harry Culpepper. Survivors include two sons, Ennon and Phil Culpepper, both of Hamilton; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Cox Funeral Home of Hamilton was in charge of arrangements.2

Graveside services will be 3:00 pm, Friday, October 28, 2011 at Parkhill Cemetery according to Cox Funeral Home, Hamilton. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
     Mr. Culpepper was born June 5, 1942 in Columbus, the son of Harry Culpepper and Essie Sizemore Culpepper. He was a retired self employed heavy equipment operator and had worked for many years for Robinson Paving in Columbus. Mr. Culpepper was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church, Cataula.
     Survivors include his daughter, Debbie Culpepper Freeman and her husband, Jason of Panama City Beach, FL; two sons, Philip Allen Culpepper, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of Cataula, Jeff Culpepper and his wife, Casey of Hamilton; one brother, Ennon Culpepper and his wife, Debra of Hamilton; two nephews, Scott and Shelby, one niece, Janet; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many other relative and special friends.
     In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Culpepper may be made to Columbus Hospice, 7020 Moon Road, Columbus, GA 31909. Cox Funeral Home, Hamilton in charge of arrangements. Please sign the online register at www.coxfh.com.2
