Biography* John Hodnett was NOT born in England, but simply sailed from there when he came to America, c. 1736. Chances are he was born in Ireland, where we have found his 1732 marriage, as well as his parents' (we are pretty sure) 1702 marriage. My best guess is his birthdate falls between 22 April 1709 and 22 April 1710.
