Freddie Gold, his brother-in-law, said that one day his fellow workmen waited till Frazier went to lunch and they pushed a Ford car into his repair stall. When he came back from lunch he was hot under the collar and refused to fix the car."2

She was born on October 22, 1930 in Avon Park, Florida to the late James B. and Louise (Greene) Culpepper. Winnie had been a lifelong resident of Sebring. She is survived by her children, Wanda (Roy) Strenth-Sebring, FL, Kay (Robert) King-Lorida, FL, Donnie Singletary-Winter Haven, FL, and Gary (Fawn) Singletary-Ocala, FL; her siblings, Millie Gold-Orlando, FL, Janie Kretz-Avon Park, FL, Lillian Ashurst-Del Rio, TX, and Ray (Jill) Culpepper-Avon Park, FL; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. There will be a funeral ser-vice Tuesday, May 5, 2015, 11:00AM, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Sebring with Pastor Ray Culpepper officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00AM. Burial will take place immediately following service at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.1

Survivors include two sons, Robert Rowland of Wauchula, and Marvin Rowland of Coleman; three daughters, Judy Merchant, Peggy Thomas, and Dorothy Cheraz, all of Wauchula; one brother, Ray Culpepper of Avon Park; five sisters, Beth Walker of Sebring, Millie Gold of Orlando, Lillian Aushurst of Texas, and Winnie Singletary and Janie Kretz, both of Avon Park; and many grandchildren.1
