Research note* | 12 February 2010 | From William M. Garrison: I looked at documents last night and forgot to bring my notes to work. But I did determine that mother (Jessie) was un-named on her original birth certificate. Some time later it was filled in. Then she with Sylvia's help (her daughter) had the spelling of her middle name corrected to Cwilla on her birth certificate. Looks like they also got the date clarified. I cannot make out the profession of John Redding on her birth certificate. One copy might say moulder- which is what he was. But another copy looks like it starts with a F. I am pretty sure she died on the 15 of Oct but I forgot the notes.4 |
