As a child I have no doubt that I knew this lady and her activities. I am pretty sure I have heard her speak when she would be home "on leave" from her missionary work. I remember her mother Addie a little bit. Addie was another one who kept her front yard free of grass and weeds and had abundant floral growth all over. She and my mother were pretty close I think. I am glad to have the extra documentation for the details of her family. The Carl Hayden home faced the main road that led from Pickon to Pine Forest about six miles away. I graduated from High School in Pickton. Thanks again. Tommie. |
