Biography*16 March 1998 Dennis Leroy Culpepper, Jr., son of Dennis Leroy Culpepper, Sr. and Virginia, was born in Norfolk, VA. Dennis Jr. married Roberta Diane Blaikie (originally of Hawaii). Dennis Jr is the son of Dennis Elisha Culpepper. During his 23 year career in the United States Air Force, in addition to serving two term in Viet Nam, Dennis Jr served the Korean War as well as in the Phillipines and other asian countries, including Japan and Okinawa. He retired from the Air Force in 1976, enjoyed a second career for many years and currently is retired in Denver, Colorado. (Source: his daughters, Kara Lynn and Lisa Lee Culpepper).2

     Dennis is survived by his four children, Michael Culpepper, Edward Culpepper (Kathy Culpepper), Lisa Culpepper (Dr. Tammy Wolfe), Kara Culpepper (Terri Haley). Dennis is also survived by one sister, Catherine Capps, and, one brother, Wayne Culpepper, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews and their children.
     Memorial services in Military Honors will be held on March 22, 2013 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 2 p.m., to be followed by a general gathering at Mr. Culpepper's house at 4 p.m., 1090 W. 69th Ave., Denver, CO 80221.
     In lieu of flowers, the Memorial Service will also serve as a fundraiser in Dennis' name for Veteran's Passport To Hope, Denver, Colorado. Veteran's Passport to Hope assists Vets coming home and transitioning to civilian life, helps prevent Vet homelessness, supports Vets who have been traumatically injured (including PTSD, Brain Trauma/injury and other injuries) and supports other Veteran-related 501(c)(3)s. Donations may be made at the General Gathering.
     Dennis (or Sarge as some called him) was a "lifer" in the Air Force. His passions were his children, sports, patriotism, and animals. Please join us in honoring his life and his service to country, and in supporting our returning Veterans through Veteran's Passport to Hope.3 
Burial*22 March 2013 His body was interred on 22 March 2013 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Denver Co., Colorado.3

She was born in Norfolk, VA on November 15, 1941 the daughter of the late, Dennis Leroy Culpepper and Virginia Armistice Holmes Culpepper and was preceded in death by her brother Dennis Culpepper.

Mrs. Culpepper was a retired Technical Support Representative with the Social Security Administration in Virginia.

Surviving are a daughter, Terri Lynn Blakey and husband, Cliff of Largo FL; 3 sons Timothy Williamson and wife, Denise of Bealeton VA, JR Williamson and wife, Brenda of Herndon VA, and Sidney Capps and wife, Life of Elgin IL; 9 grandchildren: Timmy, Katie, Cody, Christopher, Jessica, Kaelyn, Carter, Derrick and Andrew; 2 great grandchildren: Jackson and Harper; 1 brother, Wayne Culpepper of Supply NC; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in Manassas VA on 11 AM Saturday April 30, 2016 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 800 Centreville Road Manassas, VA 20111.
