The ceremony was most impressive in its quiet simplicity and was attended by only the relatives and most intimate friends of the contracting parties.

The bride is the daughter of the well-known Stewart family of Harnett county, North Carolina, and was educated at Meredith College. The groom is a graduate of Alabama Polytechnic Institute at Auburn, Alabama, and is an engineer in the employ of Jensen, Bowne, and Farrell, of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Following their honeymoon, Mr. and Mrs. Bankson will be at home at 112 New Bern Avenue, here.
