Scelzi of Norfolk; other family members and many good friends. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Riverside Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday for a visitation with friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the Peggy Payne Fund, c/o Carol Crine, Unisys Corp., 600 Lynnhaven Parkway, Suite 200, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452-7319. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.2

She was employed with Be-Lo Supermarkets. Survivors include her husband, Clayton A. Culpepper Jr; two sons, Clayton Culpepper and David W. Culpepper, both of Virginia Beach; her father, Ernest L. Messer of Plantation, Fla; and three brothers, Jerry Messer of Norfolk, William Messer of Cleveland and Joseph Messer of Chesapeake. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Riverside Memorial Park by the Rev. Willis Switzer. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, and at the residence.3 
Burial*7 April 1992 Her body was interred on 7 April 1992 at Riverside Memorial Cemetery, Norfolk (city), Virginia.3
