Jessie was a member of the Masonic Lodge #115, Scottish Rite, was a former Shriner and was of the Baptist faith.
     He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carrie Culpepper of Punta Gorda; daughter, Judy Anderson of Punta Gorda; grandchildren, Keith (Mary) Anderson of Valrico, FL; Steven Culpepper, Kyle (Heather) Culpepper and Jessie Culpepper, all of Punta Gorda; great grandchildren, Joe, Will and Vivian Anderson and Kynlee and Paislee Culpepper; sisters, Nell Williams of Rome, GA; Tish Moran of Charlotte, NC and Debbie Williams of AL; nieces, nephews and other extended family.
     He is preceded in death by his son Michael Culpepper, great granddaughter, Grace, as well as a brother and sister.
     The Visitation will be from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm, Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 635 E Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL, with a Masonic Service to be held at 6:30 pm. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 22, at the funeral home with the Rev Bill Klossner officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Springs Cemetery. The family has asked for donations in memory of Jessie be made to the Punta Gorda Kiwanis Club, c/o Eddie Webb, 1107 W Marion Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950.
