Obituary* | 16 July 2000 | Jack W. Culpepper, Sr., 'Papa' , went-to heaven Friday, July 14, 2000. After Landon High School he entered the U.S. Navy where he was decorated with the Silver Star, among others. Retired from the Jacksonville Sheriffs Office and a member of Morocco Shrine Temple. Jack will be loved always and missed by his loving wife, Eunice; one son, Jack W. Culpepper, Jr. (Angela); one daughter, Gloria Hartley (Freddy); one brother, Leon E. Culpepper (Grace); six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, July 17, 2000 in Greenlawn Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., So., where the family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday, July 16, 2000.4 |
