PHOENIX -- Frances Pickens Culpepper, 68, wife of Fred Culpepper, died Friday, June 18, 2004, in Phoenix. Born in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Frank P. Wright and the late Eloise Rollins "Polly" Wright. Surviving are her husband; a son, Stephen Culpepper and wife, Kelly; two daughters, Susan Esker and husband, Matt, and Polly Small and husband, Jack; a sister, Monty Kolpf; and six grandchildren, all of Arizona. She was preceded in death by one brother, Dolan Wright. Memorials services will be held today at First Southern Baptist Church, West Camel Back Road in Phoenix.

Frances W. Culpepper, age 67 of Phoenix, AZ went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2004 with her family by her side. She was born on November 5, 1936 in Greenville, SC to Francis P. and May E. (nee Rollins) Wright. She was a Registered Nurse for many years and a Secretary for the First Southern Baptist Church of Phoenix. Frances is survived by her beloved husband Fred Culpepper of 48 yrs; 2 daughters Susan (Matt) Esgar and Polly (Jack) Small; 1 son Steve (Kelly) Culpepper; 1 sister Monty Klopf; 6 grandchildren Ashley, Deidre, Trey, Frances, Dolan, Karli Rae and many nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM., Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at First Southern Baptist Church of Phoenix, 3100 W. Camelback Rd. Phoenix, AZ. Memorial Contributions may be made in Frances' Memory to the Arizona Baptist Children's Services, 6015 W. Peoria Ave., Glendale, AZ. or to the Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, Glendale, AZ.2,1
