     The funeral and burial will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Salem Primitive Baptist Church, Talbotton, according to Lamar's Funeral home.
     Mr. CULPEPPER was born Jan 11, 1915, in Talbot County, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur CULPEPPER. He was a retired oil refinery foreman and an Army veteran of World War II.
     Survivors include a son, James T. CULPEPPER Jr., of Compton, Calif; four daughters, Caroline CULPEPPER, Lynne CULPEPPER, both of Compton, Lillie Mae CULPEPPER of Chicago and Josephine C. LITTLEJOHN of Lynwood, Calif; three brothers, Willie J. CULPEPPER of Waverly Hall, Richard CULPEPPER of Los Angeles and Gentle [=General] CULPEPPER of Talbotton; three sisters, Carrie BELL of Los Angeles, Jenice McCOREY and Mattie M. THOMAS, both of Talbotton; eight grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild.6 
Burial*16 February 1986 His body was interred on 16 February 1986 at Salem Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Olive Branch, Talbot Co., Georgia.4,6
