Born December 22, 1922, in Valdosta, Georgia, she was a retired nurse assistant and a believer in the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Lee (Carter) Hill and Kenneth B. Clark; her husband, Horace Edward Culpepper; and two daughters, Betty Jean Pelham and Kathy Helen Culpepper. Survivors include a daughter, Carol Elliott of London, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, including a special granddaughter and caretaker Sherry Mills of Lily, Kentucky, Kathy Boggs of London, Kentucky, and Keith Tanner of Elkhart, Indiana; and a host of great-grandchildren, including Stephanie Mills of Lily, Kentucky, Keith A. Tanner, Kim Kidd and Ambria Tanner, all of London, Kentucky. London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.6 |
