Mrs. Mamie Boggs Kent of 953 East Solomon Street, widow of Mr. G. Arthur Kent, died at the Griffin-Spaulding Hospital Monday night after being admitted Saturday.

Mrs. Kent was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., daughter of the late Joseph Oliver Boggs and the late Katie Culpepper Boggs. She had made her home in Griffin since 19?7 (illegible) and was a member of the East Griffin Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thelma McGee of Riverdale and Mrs. Odell Cole of Griffin; three sons, Chester Kent, Lester Kent, both of Griffin, and Ferrell Kent of Perlasie, Pa; one brother, Mote W. Boggs of Griffin; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The Rev. Calvin Berry and the Rev.Steve Lisenby will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Kent's body will remain at Haisten Funeral Home.3
