Obituary*say 27 March 2015 Janice Culpepper, 79, of McGregor, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015, in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be 2 PM, Monday, March 30, in McGregor Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 29th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Cole Funeral Home.

Mrs. Culpepper was born on August 21, 1935 in La Grange, Texas, to D.A. and Bernice (Cooper) Matlock. She married Frank D. Culpepper on May 21, 1953 in Patterson, Texas, and they celebrated over 61 wonderful years together. Mrs. Culpepper loved her pets, fish pond, and gardening; especially her flowers, but her true love was her family. She was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church.Her parents and a son; David Lynn Culpepper preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Judge Frank D. Culpepper of McGregor; son, Michael Culpepper of McGregor; and cousins, Connie Turner, Billie Hughs, Harris and Joann Garret, all of the Houston area.

Memorials may be made to the McGregor Fire Department.
