Services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 5, 2010, in the Chapel of Rooks Funeral Home in Byron with burial following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Rooks Funeral Home in Byron.
Born in Macon, Mr. Culpepper was a former electronics technician at Robins Air Force Base and Navy Veteran. He was a musician and played harmonica with Bobby O'Day, played guitar with Chris Hicks and even played with Jaimoe of the ABB. He loved his music. Man, he could really play "The Blues"!
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Dunaway Culpepper of Byron, children, Nicole Michelle Graham and Zachery Eric Culpepper both of Alabama, and Nita Bryan and Emily Bryan both of Byron, great granddaughter, Chelsea Greer of Byron, mother, Irene Culpepper McCrone of Byron, brother, Jeffery Phillip Culpepper of Florida, grandparents, Tom and Evelyn Holland of Macon.
