Obituary*2 March 2012 Bertha Wilma Webster Culpepper of Oak Ridge, age 97, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2012 at Briarcliff Nursing Home in Oak Ridge.
     She was born on January 25, 1915 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late William Hester and Emma Harriet Owens Webster and was the oldest of four children. Bertha came to Oak Ridge in 1944 when her late husband Harold Deloach Culpepper came to work at the K-25 Facility. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Oak Ridge Women's Club. She volunteered as a Pink Lady at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge for 35 years and loved playing bridge at the Oak Ridge Senior Center.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, William and J. D. Webster; and sister, Marguerite Wiggins; brother-in-law, Charles Culpepper, sisters-in-law, Melba Wambsganss and Anne Sherrill.
     She is survived by son, Robert Culpepper and wife Sheila; grandchildren, Lindsay Childress and husband Johnny of Morristown, Kara Culpepper and fiancé Jason Brown of Charlotte, NC; great grandchildren, Madison and Reagan Childress; sisters-in-law, Marie Webster and Sue Culpepper; and several nieces and nephews.
     The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary, Saturday, March 3, 2:00 p.m. with Rev. William Wagner officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from Noon to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Weatherford Mortuary. An online guest book may be signed at weatherfordmortuary.com.1 
Burial*3 March 2012 Her body was interred on 3 March 2012 at Anderson Memorial Gardens, Oak Ridge, Anderson Co., Tennessee.1
