     She was a member of St. Mark Methodist Church and had lived in Columbus for the last 50 years. She was the widow of J. C. CULPEPPER.
     Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth TURNER, Mrs. Ida QUINN; two brothers, Roscoe and Sam STARNES, all of Charlotte, N.C.
     Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Striffler Chapel. The Rev. William C. BRYANT, pastor of St. Mark Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery.
     Pallbearers will be S. P. CHAPMAN, W. J. SIMPKINS, W. A. McMINN, Frank HAINES, J. E. BYARD and M. H. CARPER.4

Obituary*10 July 2012 Grover "Howard" Culpepper, age 63, passed away July 6, 2012 at his home. He was a field technician for Alpha Omega Geotech.
     Howard was born in Norfolk, Virginia and moved to Indianapolis, Indiana as a baby with his mother, LaVerne, father, Ed and brother Allen. He and his family moved to Olathe in 1983.
     He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Terri, his son Joey, two grandchildren, Wayne and Allison, his mother LaVerne, brother and sister-in-law Allen and Yvonne, his aunt Norma Huber, two nephews, a niece, three great nephews, numerous cousins, many close friends and his beloved pets.
     Memorial contributions can be given to Wayside Waifs. Visitation on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Penwell-Gabel-Olathe Chapel, 14275 Blackbob Rd, Olathe, KS 66063-1086, 913-768-6777. Service: Private.1
