Certified copies may be obtained through the Registry in person ($6.00 each), by mail ($11.00)
or by phone ($19.00). Regardless of how you request copies, you should be prepared to provide the
name of the subject(s) of the record, the date of the event and, if known, the city or town where
the event occurred.
The fee for records ordered by phone is $19.00 per certified copy. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and
American Express are the only acceptable forms of payment. You may request overnight delivery for an additional fee.

organized by town, are available in many research libraries, including the Massachusetts State Library.|
||Index only since 1952, however, it is not complete. Copies are available from the Registrar of Probate Court
in the county where the couple last lived as husband and wife.|
