Mentions John's wife is poorly (presumably Rebecca Duff and places James Greer of Tievena as being born in 1775, and an Uncle Samuel). Asking William for money for his brother John.

James Greer Born: 1779
James Greer married Elizabeth Harkness, and they had 3 sons and a daughter who were brought up at Tullyconnell, Artrea Parish, Co Tyrone. All 3 of his sons emigrated to America; two of them, William and Samuel when out together in 1837, and married out in America. John remained in Tyrone and he married twice in Co Tyrone, before taking his second wife and family to join his brother William initially in Ohio.

On Nancy Ann's marriage certificate (14th April 1863, Glasgow), John Greer was listed as the father but the mother's name was listed as Rebecca Greer [deceased] Mother's maiden name Duff.

James Greer was baptised at Brigh Presbyterian church, as was Nancy Ann. Their nearest presbyterian church

Little is known of Matthew or James Greer, they did not emigate with their father and his second family.

Griffith's Valuation (1859) shows the John Greer living at Tullyconnell, in plot 3?. There was a group of houses on one side of the road (where the photo of the cows are), and their land was the other side of the road, and the field shape is still the same.
