a. CHARLSIE LYNN IRISH, first child of Elroy and Margie Irish, was born April 9, 1936, in Center, Shelby County, Texas. She died on July 13, 1937, as a result of an automobile accident and is buried in Newburn Cemetery, Shelby County, Texas. Margie and Charlsie Irish

b.  LEONARD BAILEY IRISH, second child of Elroy and Margie Irish, was born May 22, 1938, in Center, Shelby County, Texas.  He is a 1956 graduate of Center High School.  He attended Stephen F. Austin State College, Nacogdoches, Texas and earned a BS degree in Teaching General Business in 1959.

c.  CHARLES EMORY IRISH, third child of Elroy and Margie Irish, was born July 5, 1940, in Center, Shelby County, Texas.  He married BETTY MEDCALF on May 27, 1967, in Huntsville, Texas.  She was born November 29, 1942, in Ponotoc County, Oklahoma. Betty is a 1960 graduate of Stonewall High School, Stonewall, Oklahoma.  She received a BS degree in Sociology from Sam Houston State College in 1967.  She has earned a Master's Degree in Counseling Education from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1982 and a Masters's Degree in Social work from University of Arkansas at Little Rock, in 1994.  Charles is a 1958 graduate of Center High School and he graduated from Stephen F. Austin, Nacogdoches, Texas in 1962  with a BS degree in Mathematics.  He obtained a Master of Education from Sam Houston in 1968, then a Master of Arts in Physics from Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas in 1972.

The children of Charles and Betty Irish:

    1)  COLLIN EMORY IRISH, first child of CHARLES and BETTY IRISH, was born September 24, 1969, at Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas.  He is a 1988 graduate of Northside High School, Fort Smith, Arkansas.   He earned a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1993, and an MS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado in 1995.  He married KELLY J. MADDOX on June 26, 1993, and they were divorced October 13, 1998.  On July 4, 2003, Collin Married AMY LYNNE WRAY in Arapahoe County, Colorado.  To this couple was born, on February 22, 2004, COLE EAN IRISH.

Cole Ean Irish

    2)  KEITH RYAN IRISH, second child of CHARLES and BETTY IRISH, was born July 14, 1971, in Huntsville, Walker County, Texas.  He is a 1989 graduate of Northside High School, Fort Smith, Arkansas.  He earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1994.

    3) STACEY LYNN IRISH, third child of CHARLES and BETTY IRISH, was born July 18, 1972, in Huntsville, Walker County, Texas.   She is a 1990 graduate of Northside High School, Fort Smith, Arkansas.  She earned a BS degree in Education from the University of  Arkansas, Fayetteville, in 1994 and a MS in Library and Information Science from the Univeritty of North Texas in 1997.  She married KENNAN H. KEFFER on November 10, 2001.  To this couple was born on August 14, 2002, DRAKE ANTHONY KEFFER.

Drake Anthony Keffer

d. CAROLYN ANN IRISH, fourth child of Charles Elroy and Margie Irish, was bon May 7, 1945, in Center, Shelby County, Texas.  She graduated in 1963 from Center High School Center. Texas, and in 1967 from Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas, with a BS in Elementary Education.  She obtained a Masters of Arts with a major in English from Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas in 1973.   Carolyn Ann Irish Bourque died on June 13, 2012 and is buried in Newburn Cemetery, Shelby County, Texas.  She married CLAUDE BOURQUE, JR. on October 18,1969.  Claude was born in Crockett, Texas on September 14, 1945.  Claude died on December 27, 2003 and is buried in Newburn Cemetery, Shelby County, Texas.
