JOHN IRISH, III, eleventh child of John, Jr. and Elizabeth Irish, was born May 1, 1699, in Little Compton, Rhode Island.  He married THANKFUL WILBUR on May 10, 1720.  She was born June 8, 1700, and was the daughter of SAMUEL and MARY POTTER WILBUR.  Thankful died after 1773 in Little Compton, Rhode Island and John, III died July 1773,  in Little Compton, Rhode Island.

10.  ICHABOD IRISH, tenth child of John, III and Thankful Irish, was born January 6, 1740, in Little Compton, Rhode Island.  He married RUTH COOK on October 7, 1764.  She was born September 16, 1743, in Tiverton, Rhode Island and was the daughter of THOMAS COOK.  To this union PHILIP IRISH was born ca 1766 and died August 7, 1819, in Clinton, New York.  The death of Ruth Irish is unknown.  Ichabod married second time to HANNAH GRINNELL who was born August 31, 1745.

i.  CORNELIUS BAILEY IRISH, ninth child of Ichabod and Hannah Irish, was born March 10, 1782, at Westport, Massachusetts.  He married POLLY ADAMS, the daughter of Captain Joel Adams, on December 5, 1804.
