Daniel Usher (Sept 16, ????)
The death of Daniel Usher, 52, occurred Sunday, September 16, in Point
Edward Hospital. A son of Mrs. Annie Pasher of South Bar and the late Luke
Usher, he was born in Sydney and resided at 1555 Victoria Road. Besides
his wife Isabel
and his mother, Mr. Usher is survived by two sons, Rev. Brother Usher,
OMI, Ottawa, and Garfield Luke, a student at Sydney Academy, and one daughter,
Donna Marie, who attends Holy Redeemer School. He is survived also by four
brothers, Bill in Boston, Joe and George in Ontario, and Alex at South
Bar, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Higginbotham, Sydney. The remains will
rest at Curry's Funeral Home until Wednesday morning, when Mass of Requiem
will be celebrated in Holy Redeemer Church at 10:30. Interment will take
place in Calvary Cemetery.
