In loving memory of Joseph BIRKETT,
who departed this life October 15th 1917, aged 57 years. “He
giveth his beloved sleep.” Also of Harold Joseph, second son of the above,
who was killed in action in France, September 11th 1918, aged 26
years. “ and fold us, when dread voices call, safe in Thy everlasting
arms.” Also Nellie, beloved wife of the above Joseph, who departed this life
21st May 1941, aged 76 years. “Death doth hide but not divide,
thou art but on Christ’s other side.” Also of George Bertrand, elder son
of the above Joseph & Nellie, who died 9th May 1953, aged 63
years. “After turmoil, peace.” Also of Mary Constance, youngest daughter
of the above Joseph & Nellie, who passed away in Bedford, 19th
June 1948, aged 47 years. At rest.

loving memory of Frances BIRKETT, died November 21st 1902, aged 77
years & 10 months. A noble, generous & loving mother. Also George John
Tempest WILLIAMS, eldest and dearly loved son of George J & Fanny M
WILLIAMS, and grandson of the above, aged 24 years. Died 22nd July
1932. “Will be with Christ which is far better.” Also George John
WILLIAMS, dearly loved husband of Fanny Maud WILLIAMS, and father of George
John Tempest WILLIAMS, died May 6th 1920, aged 77 years. “The
Lord hath need of him.” Also Fanny Maud WILLIAMS, dearly loved wife of the
above, who died 11th May 1937 aged 85 years. “She lived to make
others happy.”
