1664 Deeds: Sir Thomas Morgan purchased from Humphrey and RoseTailor the property that formerly belonged to his father Lewis Morgan.

1816 Bradney (I, 255): Charles, son of David Lloyd, sold the estate to Thomas Davies of Tal-y-coed in the parish of Llantilio Crossenny. The next purchaser was John Richards of Abergavenny, horse dealer, from whom it descended to his nephew, John Pye of Abergavenny, horse dealer.
1819 Memorials Mary, wife of Thomas Davies of Oldcourt departed this life August 12th, aged 23
